AAAAhhh! You’re down to the wire again. Your frustrated, tired, completely over it and whats worse is that you aren’t going to put your best foot forward.

This is no new area for you. You’ve been doing this for some time now!

Here are 3 steps to eliminating procrastination….

1) Know the time you work best.

One of my mentors actually told me to acknowledge when I work best. Morning, Afternoon, Night?

Knowing the time of the day you work best makes it easer for you to schedule around that time.

2) Get some self-control!

Work is work. Its not fun. Make a decision to get your work done… and do it!

Just doing it makes it a lot easer for yourself in the end. The more you discipline yourself, the more your life will improve in every area.

3) Know what triggers your procrastination.

Did you start doing your work and then jumped on FB? Was tv a distraction. Your texts? Is your negative mindset in the way?

Figure out the source of your procrastination and find ways around it. If its FB, maybe you should put a parental lock on yourself for the hour your doing  your project. Do your work in a room with no TV. Turn off your texts. Start thinking positively about the work you’re doing.

Sometimes people like to shield their actual problems with words like ‘procrasination’

What if you’re just lazy? Or, what if you have a legit attention deficit disorder? Are you just rebellious? Figure out the actual problem and cut it out.
