butterfly inspired style

Nothing screams “metamorphosis” more than butterflies. We found some beautiful photographs inspired by butterflies. Who would have guessed a butterfly could inspire so much fashion, style, and photography. Well then again, they are one the most fascinating creatures. Check out all that they inspire…

This photo is absolutely amazing. We found it from a Dazed and Confused editorial. They really let the clothes do the speaking without being too literal that its a butterfly. The tulips keep everything sweet and beautiful. Great photo.

This photo of Uma Thurman took all the color from the butterfly, and highlights its amazing structure. She mimics the importance of amazing structure with her black and white suit. The bow tie picks up the shape of the butterfly image as well.

These Oliver Goldsmith sunglasses cost $1,000. You either love these or hate them! We actually love them. We probably won’t wear them out and about, but they would be PERFECT for a photoshoot.

Wow, this photo is pretty. We love the bronze glitter on her face. It adds to the majestic beauty of a butterfly.

Rupert Sanderson created these shoes and is selling them for a cool $1,000. Are you buying the laser cut suede butterfly pumps?

She looks like a flower and with butterflies fluttering around her. Beautiful photo, especially because it’s in black and white.

Dazed and Confused magazine seems to love butterflies just as much as we do. They added this editorial to their collection. The superimposed butterfly graphic is striking. We flip between liking and disliking this image, but somehow we stay fixated on the photo.

This is another photo where butterflies are brought to life through the use of amazing printed textiles. It isn’t as literal, but just as amazing.

Do you feel inspired to be fly this Monday? Have a great start to your week!
