India and Morocco seemed like a point of interest in the 90s. Gwen Stefani rocked a bindi between her eyes (and so did we), and Moby (a target of Eminem) had us learning meditation and natural eating. As our attention turned to the North African country (and the surrounding areas) we all seemed to ooohh and aaahh at the beauty of the Moroccan architecture and textiles. Traveling To Florence In Your 20s

I traveled to Italy with about 300 bucks in my pocket. My friend from college thought it would be a great way to celebrate the end of the school year and I joined in. We didn’t have much money, but we hopped on the plane and landed in Italy. We traveled to Rome, Florence and Venice. I preferred Florence for its amazing colors, friendly people, and this one galactic-themed club that played pop and hip-hop. I have to say the most memorable moment in Florence had to be when we walked into a bar for karaoke night and the locals were singing Motown. It was an amazing trip for a couple of 20 year olds.
