    When trying to decide what was the most historic moment in beauty, we found a beautiful historic moment that came via Italian Vogue in 2008. In July 2008, Vogue went black for the very first time with an entire issue dedicated to black models. Black models often found it hard to find work in fashion, and were told their features weren’t beautiful for years. To see an entire magazine ‘go black’ had a profound impact in fashion, and led to women flocking to newsstands to shell out as much as it took to snag a copy.
