We showed you the invitation to Chanel’s 2012 Couture show. And now we have shots from the runway show. We absolutely love the designs Karl Lagerfeld created and the shows “New Vintage” theme. This collection brings the new generation into the classic styles of Chanel. The designs scream ‘Coco’, and have a beautiful point of view. Scroll through these snapshots and let us know which look was your favorite.
This Chanel “pink puff” dress reminds me as one of those princess dresses we wore as kids. This look is very sweet and celestial.
This is such a dramatic wedding dress. Chanel closed the show with this look modeled by Lindsey Wixson, and it was truly a show-stopper. The feather detail and beautifully sculpted sleeves and collar really illustrate the beauty of couture pieces.
This look really emphasizes the theme of the show, “New Vintage”. This “New Vintage” look modernizes the traditional vintage look. We’re a huge fan of this shirt and the detail on the pants.
For a design to qualify as “couture”, it has to be done completely by hand. Imagine doing this completely by hand. That’s a lot of time and effort, and it looks like it paid off!
This is a great fall coat; long but sleeveless. How do you like the purse? What about the sleeves?
This look is BEAUTIFUL. Its soft, tailored, and chic. I really love the softness of these looks. It brings a very lady-like approach to ‘vintage’.
Fairy Princess? This dress is so cute, and would fit into any event. Check out those shimmer leggings. I like how the shimmer is on the side and not in the front of the legging.
Our editor met with a client today and was told she looked too glamorous for the meeting. Imagine if she wore this bow-blazer, now that would be glamorous.
This is a true collision of ‘Old Chanel’ meets ‘New Chanel’. The infamous tailoring is a Chanel staple, while the shimmer tights bring it into the new generation. We’re loving the cute of that blazer! Beautifully designed.
