Making a simple change to a room can change the entire space. We don’t always have enough cash to overhaul a room, but if we focus on one element at a time we can really change the look of the space. The trick is to focus on one element that will recenter the room and define the look of the space.

If we had to make a change to the room in order to change the look of the space we would change all reflective/pattern pieces. The mirror, end tables, chandelier and screen would go. You could make this space look like a country home if you took away those items.

Adding artwork can make any space different. Image if the butterfly painting was a Pablo Picasso? It would be an entirely different room.

Fabrics are an inexpensive change that dictates the look of a room. You can change your curtains or comforters to give a new look to your room.

If that wall was white, the room would be completely different. Wall color can give your room a fresh spin.

Accessories can change the direction of a room as well. You can do things like have only white, or only metal accessories.

Lighting is SO IMPORTANT. You can change the feel of an entire room by changing the light fixtures.
