We found four young women who have set out on the path of their passion and developed amazing businesses. Check out what they’ve done and see if they have any ideas that would inspire you!

Jessica Butcher is the creator of Blippar, an interactive experience that allows you to create augmented reality layers to pictures on your phone. Her clients include Nike, Unilever, & Mercedes. Get this girls… shes only 34 years old.

Theresa Fette is another 34 year old doing her thing. She found a problem in the area of retirement planning, and built a business around what she saw as the solution. Theresa now owns a company with about 5 million in client assets.

Christiane Lemieux found out she was really good at displaying fashion-driven home decor pieces while working for someone else. The positive feedback inspired her to create her own company, DwellStudio. She now has a retail store inside of the famous ABC Home & Carpet in NYC. She is a good example of taking note of what you’re good at and parlaying that into a very lucrative business.

There are very few resources in finance that appeal to young women. Alexa Von Tobel took it upon herself to create a business that would address that issue. She created LearnVest, a company that connects young women with financial planners. By the way, Alexa is 28!
