How To Turn An Idea Into A Business

Posted in: Entrepreneurship, Inspiration

from idea to business

Having an amazing idea is one thing. Being able to turn that idea into a business is a whole other animal. Most people settle with knowing they have a good idea not because they were lazy or incapable, but because they don’t know how to actualize their dream into reality. So we wanted to give the ladies with a dream  a pinkprint to bridge the gap between their dreams and reality.

Write The Vision Down

The first thing to do after you have an amazing idea is to write it down. Write it down in its simplest form. Who does your idea involve? What exactly is your idea? When do you plan on executing it? Where do you see your idea taking off? How are you going to go about answering it?

Find People To Help

You won’t have the answers to everything. You’ll probably need people to help you. Mentors are very important as you work to make your dream a reality. Find people who have accomplished the thing you want to accomplish, and reach out to them. Social media has made it easier for you to access people you wouldn’t have been previously able to contact. Tell them who you are, and ask them to point you in the direction you need. You would be surprised at how willing people are to help you.

Put Your Dream Into Bite-Sized Pieces

Make a list of all the things you would need to do in order to accomplish your dreams. It will seem overwhelming at first. But don’t be. Now put all those things into smaller bite-sized pieces. What could you get accomplished in 3 months? The key is to not be overwhelmed but to continuously move forward. Your mentors will connect you to the people who could help you as you move along with your vision.

Be Willing To Make Mistakes

You won’t get everything right on the first try. Know that you will make mistakes. Learn from them and quickly recover. Continue on your path, and things will fall back in place. You have to learn to be your own cheerleader and your own shoulder to cry on. But as you continue to accomplish things little by little you will eventually be able to bring your idea to fruition.
