Its important that you get your idea down on paper! But writing a business plan can be extremely overwhelming. Stick with me ladies, and I’ll have your business plan ready in 7 weeks. I’ll give you one assignment per week and I’ll even show you some places to send it to when you’re done. So lets get started! The first assignment is to get your idea on paper.
Whether you want to be a haristylist, publisher, boutique owner, or inventor. You need a business plan. Why not go through the steps together? Here is what you can do for week 1:
#1 Get Your Idea On Paper
This section is professionally known as the “Business Overview”
In this section you need to write down:
- -What is your business?
- -Where is it located?
- -What are you selling?
- -Who is buying?
- -Why would they buy it?
- -How would they know you exist and where to buy the product?
It sounds like a lot, but it really isn’t. The best way to approach this is to answer the questions aloud. You will find that your answers are very specific and concise. Your answers should be just as concise. Once you speak the answers out, you should write them down as the start of your business plan.
This section will be about a page and a half.
