I once had an amazing idea and thought everyone would want to be a part of it.

I reached out to people, asking them to join, but most people didn’t.

I knew I had a multi-million dollar idea, and I wanted everyone to be a part of it. But that just was not the case. Just so that I’m not misunderstand… I was TRULY appreciative of the people who did come on board. I just wanted more people on board who actually loved fashion, beauty, inspiring young women, and was trying to get into the industry.

How would it grow if there were only a couple of people behind the scenes?

So I started praying. The voice inside told me that only the people who are supposed to be with me would be the people with me.

And what I understood was that when my dream came true, there wouldn’t be a lot of people hanging off of it. Only the people who were chosen to be with me would be in my presence. Everyone else would have been dead weight.

So I increased my appreciation for those around me, and moved forward.

My point is to let you know that everything you need in this very moment you have. If you search outside of your path, you will drag yourself off your path. Be appreciative of this very moment. It is where you are supposed to be. The positive people in your life were destined to meet you at this point.

No one else matters.
