This year is the year of multi-textured shoes. Fashion designers have taken the idea of two toned color to another level. In some cases designers meshed two different types of shoes, like sneakers and sandals. In other cases they mixed the textiles while making the shoes. No matter how they mixed and matched, designers kept both the heel and our desires high. Check them out:
Givenchy mixed faux wood and leather together for this interesting pairing. The front of this show most likely looks awesome on. The design on this soft leather sandal is awesome, and the wedge-esque heel lets us think its comfy.
Valentino mixed snakeskin with leather and studs. This shoe has a high street style, with an oddly classic appeal. Orange shoes…awesome.
Pierre Hardy goes wild with geometric shapes. The designer mixed straw, leather, and a pattern for these head-turning shoes. Place these at the top of our list for the season!
A wedge and ultra high heel combined for this Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. We can imagine these in the street style blogosphere.
Although these Chloe shoes don’t mix textures, they do mix tones. And how could we pass up an opportunity to display these?
Will you be part of the double-texture trend?
