No matter what I tried to write this week about women being bold as a lion, I keep coming back to one thing – women who make the decision to undergo a preventive mastectomy. We know the decision is not made lightly or without much consideration. Stars may bring the surgery to the spotlight, but every woman making the decision is as important as the next. Our breasts are part of who we are, no matter the size. And the decision is definitely big, brave, courageous and bold.
