What is a mantra? A mantra is a phrase that is repeated frequently to aid concentration. When it comes to preparing to accomplish your goals, mantras are used to keep you focused on the task at hand. Saying your mantras daily, will keep you on course to accomplishing your goals and it keeps your mind free from negative/alternative thoughts. How do you create your own mantras?
Because mantras are simply statements, you can create your own. Here are some questions to keep in mind when creating your mantra:
Who am I?
The answer to that question is the totality of who you dream of becoming and who you are now. It is a personal mission statement. Your answer to ‘Who am I?’ is a mantra you should repeat to yourself on a daily basis.
What am I expecting?
What are you expecting to happen in your life? This mantra may change as you accomplish your dream. But state what you plan to expect in the form of ‘I will..’
What do I believe?
Speak your belief over your life. Stating what you believe gives you faith. As you continue to speak your belief, you will increase in your conviction day by day. This should be something you are already sure of, as this mantra is used to simply reaffirm your faith.
You can start your mantras by answering those three questions. Speak your mantra over your life daily and you will notice that little by little you will not only see the results appear, but you will change the way you see things and how you interact with people.
