What Aunt Sylvia Had To Say: ‘Road Trip’ Recap

Posted in: News

Last week MosaMuse prepared us for a Road Trip providing just the right amount of travel, fashion, food, beauty, stars, models, pictorials, news and inspiration needed to make our journey fabulously groomed and styled, deliciously satisfying, and completely worry-free.

MosaMuse’s Road Trip Rules are: get the car tuned up, have a road trip theme, see stuff (but not too much), interact with people, and go to the restroom often. The week went something like this:

Treasure Lies at the End of the Road when Girls and Their Cars go Rugged Road Trippin’ in Dusty Road Glam to Travel Outside Your Comfort Zone with Vintage Swimwear and Wanderlust Style.

Glamorous Road Trips need Road Trip Recipes, Famous American Drive-Thrus, Road Trip Beauty Essentials and Products That Cleared My Skin. Could The Start of the Road for These Fresh Faces be the answer to Naomi Campbell’s New Show “The Face”!

Create Your Way Out of Boredom by completing step #6 of How to Write A Business Plan, while you Pump the Brakes (stylishly of course), accessorizing with Backpacks, Satchels & Totes – Oh My! as MTV Brings Back House of Style!

Perhaps the most inspiring elements of our journey last week were Finding Your Muse, Find the Courage to Walk Awayand Perception.

Perception is awareness, discernment, observation, attitude, understanding. It’s what you see, what you think, what you feel, what you know (or think you do). It’s how you’re perceived by others and how you perceive them. Perception can be negative or positive, right, wrong, or indifferent. When perception hurts, you want to send it packing.

Sometimes the hardest part of any journey is admitting its end. The end not only means that the particular road you’re traveling is over. It also means that something new is beginning. Reasons you don’t walk away? Fear, denial and disappointing others. Reasons you should? So that you can lead the most fulfilling life possible. And that’s what MosaMuse encourages us to do. Take a voyage. Discover what inspires you. Realize positive inspirations. Unearth your passion. Unpack your muse.

On road trips, girls just wanna have fun—and we want to look good doing it. Whether roughing it in the Sahara, chillin’ in Miami, sunning in AC, shopping in Martha’s Vineyards, window browsing at MosaMuse Village, seeking out the newest, tallest, fastest, wildest roller coaster ride, or the most tranquil beach on which to lay—the road is calling! The question isn’t casual, chic or high-style, it’s how comfortable. We’ve got our girls by our side, bags packed, and the gas tank is full. We’re MosaMuse primed, primped, prepped, and ready to go!

The worst part of traveling is catching up on all that you’ve missed while you were away. If you missed MosaMuse last week (for any reason), click the “previous entries” button & get ready to hit the road!
